Ethics in Organ Transplantation - Some Facts and Thoughts

Abstract

Novel technologies like organ transplantation offer hope for organ failure patients. The search for an ideal donor is often difficult and time consuming. Ethical violations in this field are many and deep seated. This article traces the ethical problems and the responses to these from various quarters.
